Injection therapy has shown great promise in orthopaedics. Its usage has shown marked upsurge in sports injuries. It is now widely used as an adjunct to conservative treatment in orthopaedics. It allows direct delivery of drug at desired place, thus provide faster recovery with minimal systemic effects.
